Overview

Gwen Reed is the city's hottest criminal defense attorney, out on the town to celebrate the biggest win of her career, the acquittal of crime boss Enzo Ragno. In the courtroom, police and prosecutors fear her, so when she's pulled over by a young stud out to make a name for himself, Gwen is ready to tear him a new one.

Detective Kyle Gibson is the city's best detective. Young, strong, and fearless, he led the investigation that put Ragno in the courtroom, but he's just watch Gwen Reed tear apart his ironclad case like thin gauze. But Kyle has a dark side; he can't stand to lose, and the only outlet for his rage is his need to bind and dominate women until they plead for more.

Tonight, Gwen Reed is his target, and the sparks will fly when a zealous attorney meets the man intent on violating more than her rights.

Explicit adult content. Contains handcuffs, domination, spanking, rough anal sex, dubious consent, and a surprise ending. 3800 words!

Excerpt:

Orange streetlights cast deep shadows across the crumbling asphalt, and Gwen's high heels made each step treacherous as entered the mouth of the alley. Her head spun; she thought she would do almost anything to avoid arrest tonight, but how far was she really willing to go? She glanced back over her shoulder. Kyle Gibson was handsome and athletic. If she had met him in a bar, she might even let him take her home, but the gleam in his eye made her squirm.

They passed a large dumpster, and Kyle stopped her below the skeletal framework of an old fire escape. "Against the wall," he ordered. Gwen pressed her shoulder against the bricks and looked back at him, wondering what came next.

Kyle Gibson shrugged out of his suit jacket and hung it on the corner of the dumpster. He looked up and down the alley, then turned to Gwen. "You think you're so smart, getting criminals off?"

Smarter than a detective who can't document an evidence custody chain, Gwen almost said, but something in his eyes made her keep her mouth shut. She shook her head.
Kyle grabbed the short chain that bound her wrists and gave her a rough tug. She stumbled backwards until she pressed against his chest. His breath was hot in her ear, and her hands pressed against something hard in his pants. "Tonight, you're going to get a cop off for once," he told her. She pulled her hands up against the small of her back, away from his aroused manhood. The steel cuffs bit her wrists, but Kyle took a step back.

Gwen started to let out a relieved breath, but Kyle's open palm took her by surprise as he delivered a stinging swat to her right buttock. She yelped and staggered forward, but Kyle held her by the cuffs.

"Be still and take what's coming," he commanded. "It's gonna be worse if you try to move away."

Gwen forced herself to be still, waiting for the next strike even as a thousand tiny needles seemed to dance against her skin. Kyle rubbed a hand over the swell of her ass with an admiring caress that almost soothed her pain.

"That's a nice ass," he said, his voice a baritone rumble. "You into yoga or something?"

Gwen didn't speak; her personal life was none of his business.

The next swat landed, slightly harder than the first, and Gwen sucked in a sharp breath. The pain rippled through her body, and her face turned red with anger and shame. Anger because she had allowed herself to be put in this position, and shame because as much as his hand stung her ass and her pride, Gwen liked it. A stirring between her legs had awakened, and her chest and neck flushed with excitement. Rather than dreading his next strike, Gwen stuck out her ass a little more, offering it to him.

Kyle let out a surprised grunt. "Well look at this, the counselor likes being naughty." Chuckling, he unlocked one of the cuffs.
