'Handknitting with Meg Swansen' contains seven designs which were originally published in Meg's 'Woolgathering' newsletters. My favorite designs are the color patterned Dubblemossa Hat, the Mananita (a lovely shawl that you wear like a poncho), and the truly unique I-Cord Gloves. There are also patterns for a blanket that folds into a pillow, a sweater with a spiral pattern at the yoke, a shawl collared vest, and a jacket. The one drawback to this book is its price. It is a rather small, skinny paperback, and while the patterns are undoubtedly worth the investment, for now I'll have to be content with checking it out from the local library. Was this review helpful?
