Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Handwriting is an expression of personality, and as unique as a fingerprint. Physical, intellectual, and emotional states combine to produce a writing style. Handwriting analysis, or graphology, was once sneeringly labeled a pseudoscience but is now gaining acceptance as a useful diagnostic tool in business, criminology, medicine, and psychology. McNichol Univ. of California has thorough knowledge and long experience as a consultant and expert witness, and teaches the only graphology course sponsored by an accredited U.S. university. Her common sense explanations are salted with wry humor and ironic observations on the handwriting of the famous as well as the infamous. No one, including the reader, is safe from her barbs. This is an excellent introduction to graphology, a great party game, and an incentive to type all correspondence!-- Evelyn L. Mott, Palm Beach Cty. Lib., West Palm Beach, Fla.

    Great Handwritting Analysis Book

I just wanted to write you to tell you how impressed I was after reading my first Handwritting Analysis book 'Handwritting Analysis - Putting it to work for you' by Andrea McNichol. I am a total amatuer but am really interested in Handwritting analysis, and her book was just AWESOME. She really knows how to explain things in a way that people can understand and put to use in their own way. By the end of the book I was able to pick out personality traits in my co-workers and friends that were right on!! It is so much fun! I've gotten 2 more books and have skimmed the internet pages but nothing compares to my first reading!! It is really a wonderful book! I'm really looking forward to other books by her and maybe even the videos

    Concise, informative and stimulating

I've been studying graphology (handwriting analysis) for several years and even though this book is written as an introduction, I still gained new insights into several areas. Andrea McNichol's intuitive presentation and her use of real-life examples makes 'Handwriting Analysis - Putting it to Work for You' concise, informative and stimulating. A great book for beginners as well as those looking to add to their existing knowledge.

    What a great book!

Andrea McNichol's book was given to me as a gift on my birthday. I had heard about handwriting analysis but never gave it much credence. But, from the moment I began this book, I was hooked. What a great surprise. This book is fascinating, full of psychological and useful information and it's a lot of fun. I am now a believer. As a teacher I am also very appreciative of how well laid out the book is, easy to comprehend and also very well written. I highly recommend this book to everyone whether or not they have an interest in the subject.

    Amazing Book!!! Highly Recommended!

I bought this book a while ago, and could not put it down! McNichol is very concise, and goes about teaching graphology in a very comprehensive way. I learned SO much with this book! And it was amazing how great this is for a party trick or even gifting. It's fun to freak out complete strangers you know nothing about (except for what their handwriting tells you ;) ) as well as co-workers, peers, or family members! If you're interested in psychology at all, or know someone who is, I highly recommend this book. This is great for beginners or even intermediates in graphology. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it was great for getting my toes wet in learning about graphology!
