Editorial Reviews

Janice Thompson
Louise M. Gouge’s Hannah Rose presents a beautifully woven tapestry of haunting memories, new beginnings, and freedom from bondage, both internal and external. Set against the backdrop of 19th Century Boston, this thoughtful and intelligent story is a must-read for lovers of history and fiction alike.

Kim Vogel Sawyer
Hannah Rose has it all--romance, drama, political issues (slavery), spiritual internal conflict, and a mother's desire to protect her child...sometimes from himself. Gouge does a wonderful job of creating a time and place and transporting the reader to that setting. I LIVED the story with the characters. Great read!
