    PRACTICAL MAGIC

This book really took the tarot and brought it into the present. It gives detailed description of card combinations that represent such things as job promotions, pregnancy, marriage proposals, as well as divorce, bankruptcy, infidelity and STD's - some of the modern day curses. It's a very practical approach to the meaning of the cards, bringing the meanings into the 21st century. It's not vauge or obscure, plus it encourages the reader to assign some of their own interpretations to the cards, which is a fine way of delving further into your own psyche!

    I Also Recommend:

    A great size

Beautiful illustrations and a great size makes this one my favorite deck. With my arthritis shuffling is usually a problem but I can shuffle this deck with ease. It also fits in my purse so I can carry it with me and always have a deck on hand.

Great Tarot cards to start with

These were my first Tarot Deck cards that I have brought in Barnes & Noble in New York over 4 1/2 years ago. What attracted to me were the beautiful art work. These cards are perfect for the beginner Tarot Readers. They are very easy to understand as well as great to work with. I do most of my readings with these cards & the readings that I have given were 98-99% accurate. Even though I have 4 other Tarot Card sets, these are my favorite ones.

    Not Too Bad

This was my first tarot deck. I heard it was the closest and best to the Rider-Waite deck. This deck is VERY explanitory...and gives room for the reader to add their own meanings to the cards.
