Children's Literature - Ali Fell
This is a book that teaches children about the holiday of Hanukkah. It is designed to be interesting to both Jewish and non-Jewish young people. Included in the book are chapters such as Rededication, Sacred Oil, Family and Friends, The Menorah, Lighting Candles, The Dreidel Game, and more. There is both a glossary and an index. The text is illustrated by appropriate photographs. The quality of print and photographs is high because the quality of paper is good. The cover is soft but durable, although not appropriate for library placement. There are 32 pages in the book. The information in the book is accurate and the price is reasonable. Hanukkah is part of a series of books, "Celebrations in My World." Other books in the series are Chinese New Year, Christmas, Cinco de Mayo, Constitution Day, Day of the Dead, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Ramadan. Reviewer: Ali Fell
