Overview

Neale Donald Walsch not only tells us how we can make it through the week in these tough times, he shows us how we can face each day overflowing with joy and optimism.

The good news, he tells us, is that each of us were meant to be happy—not just happy—but happier than god!

What the reader gets here is vintage Neale Donald Walsch. His warm and soothing words encourage the reader to look for the hidden resources that are deep inside each of us. He shows how each of us have the power within us to manifest everything we need and want.

This is not a book of spiritual theory. It provides a plan that can change lives. Included here is a program that Walsch calls "17 Steps to being Happier Than God," a plan that combines the best of the conceptual truths of his 9-book Conversations with God series with the clearest description yet of how to turn those concepts into practical tools for altering life for the better—forever.

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
Believe it or not, life was meant to be happy. This is the central contention of this book by the author of Conversations with God. In fact, Neale Donald Walsch contends that we are meant to be happier than God, a message he emphasizes by making it his title. To help enact this divine plan, Walsch lays out a 17-step program that can assist readers to transform their mundane everyday lives into spiritually charged, extraordinary experiences.

    Second thoughts

Just started reading this - then saw a show on tv last night - PrimeTime - Mind Games, got me thinking - then read the reviews on this book and read some things on the internet about him - this guy sounds a little scary - think i'll toss the book

    Has Good and Bad

Donald Walsch has a lot of positive, good ideas, but they are intertwined with his own ideas on spirituality, which he presents as if they are absolute truths. He presents his own philosophy as if there is a new way of thinking about religion, and everyone is starting to believe this way now, and that we should get with it.

It left me with a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

    Spiritual Top 10!/No April Fools

Happier Than God is to the Conversation series as The New Earth is to Tolle's Now Series. Neale offers clearly delineated steps to applying the concepts of his previous tomes. In very brief and concise chapters he challenges us to reach a deeper understanding of the Truth and double dares us to live consciously and on purpose.

    Neale's Done It Again

If you've read the series, you'll agree. If this book doesn't speak your truth, allow others to live theirs. I have used a yellow highlighter with all Neale's books to enable fast review of pertinent statements. I recommend this over 'A New Earth, 'The Secret' and all other self-realization books.
