Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Audio
In this updated version of their book Happiness Is a Choice, Minirth and Meier examine the various symptoms of depression and advise readers about ways to deal with negative emotions and anxieties. The authors use their biblical knowledge to explain how spiritual strength is tied closely to psychological health. Ultimately, they hope to help the reader take the necessary steps to achieve a fulfilling life. Unfortunately, Gabriel Travesser’s performance as narrator is monotone and dour. At times, he actually sounds depressed. And while he may be attempting to convey a tone of somber authority, the end result is an audiobook that will provide little happiness for listeners. A Baker paperback. (Feb.)
