Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Susie Wilde
Pleasant Company's series features historical characters known mostly by girls, but these spunky heroines will satisfy historical fiction readers from ages six to ten. Short novellas unite history, adventure, and the spirited characters of Kirsten, a pioneer girl; Samantha, a young woman living in the Victorian era; Molly, a patriotic World War II child; and character, Felicity, a child of colonial Williamsburg. In this adventure Felicity takes it upon herself to alert the colonist in Williamsburg when she learns of potential danger.

I highly reccomend this book. In this book Felicty recives two special things for her birthday from her grandfather. One is a beautiful lamb and the other is an old beautifull gitaur that was once Fility's grandmother's. You won't belive what happens in this book.

My favorite character is Felicity because , she is so kind and spirited. I liked the time my character got her guitar because she has been dying for a guitar. She saw that her friend's sister,Annabelle had a guitar. Felicity¿s guitar is brown with a pink ribbon

"... This update is over the first six books about Felicity Merriman, a spunky young redhead in colonial America, in the dawn of the Revolutionary War. All six books were written by Valerie Tripp. Felicity lives in Virginia with her mother, father, and her little brother and sister. Her father is a shopkeeper, and his young apprentice lives with them as well - he is older than Felicity, but they become good friends. Felicity also befriends a girl her age whose family of Loyalists comes over from England. Felicity's family are Patriots, and this difference does cause some tension between the girls at one point. ..." For full review, please visit me (Les Livres) on Blogger!
