Chapter One "I love to shout out Happy Day."

I like having Happy Days.

To have a Happy Day, it doesn't have to be your birthday.

Having a Happy Day is a kid day that is happy.

Waking up in the morning and giving mommy and daddy a big hug starts my Happy Day.

Going on the potty and having mommy clap her hands and saying, "good girl" is a Happy Day.

Putting my socks and shoes on by myself is a Happy Day.

Watching my favorite television show is a Happy Day.

Having your friend come over to your house to play is a Happy Day.

When your big brother lets you play with him and his toys, that's a Happy Day.

Painting pictures with mommy is a Happy Day.

When daddy comes home from work with a pie for dessert that is a Happy Day.

Getting a bubble bath with some bath toys is a Happy Day.

The best part of my Happy Day is when my mommy and daddy tuck me in bed at night after reading me a story and saying....

"Good night my Happy Day."

"Happy Day"

    A reviewer

Toddlers will love this book when read to them by their parents for its lively attitude for everyday life and for its excellent illustrations of such a happy child. My son liked it, as did his friends, and so did I for the care and concern the author put into a book that deals with small yet important issues that only a child can appreciate.

    Great Toddler Book

My three-year-old daughter loves this book! It is her favorite. The story has a simple text and very colorful illustrations. It shows young children that any day can be a 'Happy Day', they should appreciate the little things in life.
