Tiernan Guaire is a Fae in exile. Forced from the Realm into the human world for the unimaginable crime of a brother’s murder, he lives by a century-old vow, to trust no one, and never to allow himself to love or be loved.
Kevin Almstead has just lost his future, to a vote of the partners at his law firm. Trying to escape for an evening, he ventures into Purgatory, the hottest all-male nightclub in Washington, D.C., where he allows himself to be seduced by a stranger with long blond hair and ice-blue eyes.
Drawn into a Soulshare bond with his intended one-night stand, Tiernan soon learns that the most ancient and evil enemy of the Fae still walks the human world, and it will stop at nothing – certainly not Kevin Almstead – to possess the magick of a Noble Fae.

Meet the Author

Rory Ni Coileain majored in creative writing, back when Respectable Colleges didn’t offer such a major, so she designed it herself – being careful to ensure that she never had to take a class before nine in the morning or take a Hemingway survey course. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa at the age of nineteen, sent off her first short story to an anthology being assembled by an author she idolized, got shot down in flames, and found other things to do, such as nightclub singing, for the next thirty years or so, until her Fae started whispering to her. Now she’s a lawyer, a legal editor, an Irish dance teacher, and the mother of a teenaged son, and amanuensis to a host of Fae who are all anxious to tell their stories.

4.5 STARS!! This book was unlike anything I'd ever read, but in a good way. The author wove a few different plots throughout, had a typical opposites attract and really awesome bad guys, in a bad way. My favorite part were the men in the story, Kevin and Tiernan. The relationship started off a hot mess but the end was beautiful. There was also a new interesting twist on Fae and overall it was a fun read.

    Must read!!!

I loved this story. The world was rich and well written. This story was one of the best new take on Fae I've read in a long time. You won't regret reading this book, it's hot and full of action. Kevin was perfect for the brooding and flawed(in his own mind) Tiernan, I fell in love with them both. The magick only made this story better.

This is a fast moving story where all things are possible. The author puts a twist on what I always thought the Fae were. I love the soulshare story. Kevin and Tiernan are an unlikely match but at the same time you can see how they are perfect for each other.
Defiantly a great story gets you involved and rooting for them both.
I would recommend it to anyone that reads paranormal romance and/or urban fantasy.

Two lost souls searching for their place in the human world. Each needing to find a place to belong, the characters are well written and have depth, passion and lots of sexual attraction to each other. I found this to be a very good read and look forward to more from this author.

This is the first story that I have read by Rory and I can
honestly say I loved it and I can't wait to read more of her books.

Hard Stone is the first book in her SoulShares series. Yes it is a
m/m story which I absolutely love that genre. I don't know why I just
do. Rory in my opinion does an awesome job of setting up the scenes and
it flowed nicely. The characters left me craving more and the sex was
pretty hot too. I think the trials and tribulations the characters go throug
left me gasping and craving to read more.

Tiernan and Kevin were just full of passion and emotions that I think
anyone could relate too (even if you are human) and if I could give this
more than 5 stars I would.

    Beautiful, heart-rending story.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this one!
With all the different paranormal romance books I have read that involved the Fae Realm, I never could have imagined one with this
perspective.  Ms. Coileain has gone where I’ve not seen an author go before, and the resulting story is amazing. Not only are the
scene descriptions and dialogue well-written (excellent editing, too!), but the characters were vivid and came across as real (flaws
     and all) people.
The story is emotionally charged from the very beginning, and that emotion continues throughout all the action and turmoil of the
entire book. I was so caught up I found myself not wanting to come to the end.
This is the first book in the SoulShares Series by Rory Ni Coileain and I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read ‘Gale Force’,
SoulShares Volume 2. I highly recommend this work as a must-read for anyone who appreciates the triumph of love that comes
     from the soul.
