Overview

Professor Katherine Hardin can't believe she's agreed to give a man control over her-three wishes, any time, any place of his choosing.

But just after her fortieth birthday she was blindsided by sudden, thigh-clenching lust for a twenty-two-year-old senior whose bold stares said he saw her as more than his professor. To cover her desire, Katherine grilled him with questions all semester in front of the class. Now Jarrett Jones has appeared, demanding she make amends, and she can't resist fulfilling her fantasies of him.

Unaware of what Jarrett's willing to do for domination and retaliation, Katherine finds herself walking a dangerous line between honoring her secret agreement and maintaining control over her personal life and professional reputation.

Originally posted at: www.whippedcream2.blogspot.com ***** "I choose the place, the time, and you do whatever I tell you, right then and there." Life at E.J. Kumm University would never be same for forty-year-old Professor Katherine Hardin after she lays eyes on one smoking hot, twenty-two year old, journalism student, Jarrett Jones. Jarrett oozes self confidence and his brazen flirtation totally throws Katherine for a loop. To combat his attack on her previously dormant libido, she comes down hard on him in class until the end of the semester. Jarrett takes it in stride and then demands repayment in kind once class is over. The quote from above sets the stage for his seduction. The student now becomes the teacher and Mr. Jones doesn't take no for an answer.ever! In this, the first book in the E.J. Kumm University series, Lyla Sinclair introduces us to the delicious world of role reversing teachers and students who just can't get enough of each other. Katherine is a self professed "goody-goody brainiac" professor at a prestigious university and is in line for a dean's position. Recently divorced, she enjoyed teaching and molding young minds. She had never once thought of having a relationship with a student but that was before Jarrett sat down in the front row, stretched out his long legs and repeatedly tore down her well built personal fences with little more than a look. Jarrett personifies the word "intense"! He takes everything Professor Hardin dishes out without a word of complaint. When the class ends he demands the right to give as good as he got. Word of advice: Don't forget to breathe! Jarrett is creative in his payback and pushes Katherine well past her comfort zone. He forces her to admit that she wants and needs to step out of the professional role and venture on the wild side occasionally. If you've ever read Ms. Sinclair's blog, you know she's very witty and her writing is always observant and entertaining. She brings that same creative personality into her characters and the satisfying conclusion in this fast-paced novella. As this is the first in the series you'll want to have book two, Checking Out Audrey, as well as the third and final installment Instructing Emily, close at hand to see who else at E. J. Kumm University is getting credit for extracurricular activities.

Lyla Sinclair's love scenes stick with me long after I put the book down. This was my first Sinclair book and I daresay it won't be my last. I'm an instant fan.
