    realism

C.R. Jahn, has put in these pages some excellent tips for applying martial force and staying out of jail or away from some civil law suits. A must for any ego driven aspiring young artist that thinks saving them selves from an attack is exciting and confidence building, but C.R. Jahn makes it abundantly clear that maiming and killing people in this day and age can result in serious legal complications, whether you are in the right or not. A must read for all martial artist that imagine themselves as a bad-ass!

This book was well-worth the money paid for it. It teaches you a level of concentration you would pay much more to learn. The practical knowledge presented herein is of the utmost caliber. I don't plan to let this book out of my sight for some time to come. Take the advice of the former reviewers, and buy it now!!!

    Hardcore Self-Defense

After you've read the great books by noted authors Marc MacYoung, Gavin DeBecker, and Dr. N. Mashiro, this intermediate-level text will fill in all the blanks. REQUIRED READING for anyone who is truly serious about learning the uncensored truth about what it takes to prevail against multiple armed attackers. Anyone who gives this Master Work anything less than '5-Stars' obviously has not read it. A great book!

    Hardcore Self-Defense

Jam-packed with useful information, no space is wasted with 'filler material' like training methods, foreign terminology, or photographs of people pretending to spar. No, this book gets right to the point and tells you the best ways to defend yourself, as well as warning you about commonly taught nonsense that will not work against a highly motivated attacker. This is easily the most practical and realistic martial-arts book I've ever seen.

    OUTSTANDING!!!

I've studied martial arts for over ten years, and have read dozens of books purporting to be about 'self-defense,' but I learned a lot from this indispensible handbook. The chapter on 'Mental Preparation' alone was well worth the price. Mister Jahn doesn't hold back, and a few of the techniques shocked even me, but fighting for one's life is a deadly serious matter, and he makes this clear in no uncertain terms. Definitely NOT FOR THE MEEK! This book was quick to read, easy to understand, and pretty amusing at times. I highly recommend it for anyone who is serious about learning the TRUTH about 'self-defense.'
