I have to say I don¿t think I've ever been through such an emoti

I have to say I don’t think I've ever been through such an emotional journey while reading, as I was with Hardline (Hacker #3) by Meredith Wild. This book put me through the emotional ringer. I'm quite positive I stopped breathing, gasped, shrieked, and had heart palpitations more times than I could count while reading this magnificent book. It was all freaking worth it too!

Hardline is my new favorite in the Hacker Series. Meredith Wild and her outstanding writing skills hit it out of the darn park with this one! I’m going to try capture what the magic of this book is in this review, but I am going to fail at doing that. I can’t even begin to capture the beauty of what Meredith Wild created in this book.

This book begins right where Hardpressed ended, and you hit the ground running. Blake is still Blake, and Erica is still trying to navigate the balance of giving him the control he so desperately needs in their relationship, while still being the stubborn independent fighter she’s always been. The chemistry between these two sparks off the page, and you can seriously feel the heat. Their love for one another continues to deepen, and it was wonderful to have another glimpse at their relationship and the level of connection they shared.

Blake Landon is still himself, and boy did I love reading his controlling self. Especially when it was shirtless. There are many emotional and hugely vulnerable instances that show Blake in a different light than I had ever seen him in during any of the other Hacker Series books. Those just made me love him more.

Erica is as much of a fighter as she was before, and I heart that girl something fierce. She’s no wilting flower, and even as the events of Hardline throw everything at her and put her through a great deal of emotional pain, she’s still there fighting. God love her for that. She is a true gem of a female character, and her perspective in this book is one you’re going to feel for and connect with whole heartedly.

The events in Hardline put Erica and Blake’s relationship to the ultimate test, and their evolution in this book is filled with raw emotion, pain, and vulnerability. Reading that evolution is breathtaking. Literally. It makes you think, it makes you question, it makes you wonder where these characters are headed and if they’ll find the light at the end of the fight. (Talk about some serious character development people!) There are moments in this book that are filled with so much emotion and meaning for both characters. They both face some honest truths and have many emotionally wrought instances, and watching how it all unfolds makes for a reading experience that’s gonna leave you with one hell of a book hangover.

I am simply in awe of how enthralling this book is. It will capture you in from the get go, and will take you through so much by the book’s end, but you will absolutely freaking love every single word of it. Even in the moments when your heart is beating out of your chest, and you’re wondering how in the hell it’s all going to go, you’re going to love it. Trust me. (Remember, anything worth having is worth fighting for…)

Not to be outdone, the supporting characters of this book make the story whole. They add another engaging dynamic to it all, and add a layer to the story that just brings all the craziness together. Alli, Heath, Marie, James, Simone, Sid, and even Daniel pull it all together into one shining book that’s going to leave you dying to know what happens next. The puzzle pieces are all coming together in this one, and I for one am eagerly anticipating where this is all going to go as the series continues.

While this book does take you through the emotional ringer a tad, it’s also chalk full of moments of sheer joy and love that make this a true honest to god love story. Through all of the ups and downs that this series puts Erica and Blake through, their love shines through and you will feel it in your bones. In those moments you will feel the enormity of Erica and Blake’s relationship, and the true depth of their feeling and connection with one another. Their love story is one to remember, one worth fighting for, and in this book, their love is exemplified in ways that’ll warm your heart and put a ridiculous smile on your face.

Hardline will blow you out of the water. It balances it all with an intensity and complexity that will captivate you from the first word, and it will give you the reading experience you’ve been looking for. It has the light with the dark, the love with the hate, the good with the bad, the joy with the pain, and everything in between. You will feel a gamut of emotions while reading this book, and you will adore every single moment of that. This book has it all, and I for one am sold.

Hardline is the pinnacle of extraordinary writing, and it’s a book you won’t soon forget. It’s exciting, captivating, gut wrenching, phenomenally emotional, powerful, and healing in many ways. If you haven’t checked out Meredith Wild and her phenomenally written books, do so today. You’re going to be kicking yourself if you pass up this book, or any of her other books for that matter.

So do yourself the favor, and 1-click this one as soon as you finish this review! (And I do mean now…)

Get it! You won't regret it!

Meredith has done it again! This book is fabulous. The character development continued to where I truly feel like Blake and Erica are good friends. The story went where I didn't expect it to go. This book made me laugh, cry, cringe. I went through the gambit of emotions. You still see the feisty Erica but we finally get to see Blake the Dom and it was fantastic!! Read it, you won't regret it!

I don't even know where to begin with this one. I truly enjoyed the first two books. Some of the twists and turns and how fierce and outspoken Erica can be always kept me coming back for more. The heat and the passion between these two never disappoints... and the love and devotion between these two is just magical. With that said I felt all of that and on an entirely new level in this book.

Meredith never loses sight of who these two individuals are throughout these books. In this book you still see the stubborn and strong minded feisty elements of Erica that you got in book one & two. She worked to submit and really let Blake in-in this book. That did not come easy to her at all. She had to intentionally decide and fight sometimes her own usual way of being and need to do it on her own to allow that to happen. Erica has a propensity for making decisions based on a need to "prove herself" or because she thinks it would make her weak to ask for help. Pride, is definitely something that she continues to have difficulty with overcoming. Often times when she gets herself into difficult situations it is not because she is not bright or that she is incapable of making the best decision it's because she is so guarded and has been hurt so much in her life that she doesn't even see the other options available to her. She doesn't always see how something can be beneficial to her or helpful to her through her desire to want to do everything herself.

Blake was a wonder to behold. He has always been passionate yet sensitive and open about what he is feeling but he took that to another level. He put his foot down with Erica and at times I was not sure what was gong to happen. She struggled to see that by giving herself to him she was also gaining his devotion and life in return. No matter how much he loved and adored her he was willing to risk losing her so that their relationship could move into a place that would reflect what they both needed. There is a point in this book about 38% in or so that gets very intense and the conflicting emotions were almost overwhelming for me the reader. It felt so real and palpable - what they were going through, the hurt, the pain, the push and pull, and the need for more - that it jumped off of the pages at times. Some are not going to like this particular scene but if you read it in its entirety and really apply it to these two characters you cannot doubt the awesomeness of what Meredith did here.

I could honestly sit here and read this all over again. Thankfully, I can see the need for a book 4 & 5 and it doesn't feel like an over extension of these characters and this world that Meredith has so masterfully developed. I don't think I could manage to put into words how this book made me feel and the depth of emotion that it drew out of me.

I appear to be the lone dissenter, but seriously?  I read the other 2 and was holding my breath that this one didn't get worse, but I had to a bad taste in mouth after this one.  Why does no one else see that this chick needs some serious therapy.  I do like MW's writing style, just not this story line.

I love this series, and I held my breath the second this one started. So much turmoil and sadness, that it was almost too sad. Steamy scenes and over course, Meredith Wild will have you laugh out loud at some parts! Enjoyed and Can't wait to see more of Blake and Erica

Blake and Erica are back and hotter than ever. The sex scenes are jump off of the pages hot with a story that will keep you glued to the book waiting to see what could possibly happen next yet leave you wanting more.
Meredith has a way of weaving a story like no other. The emotions fly off of the pages making you feel as if you are experiencing the scenes with the characters as the story plays out. I was literally a blubbering idiot throughout the book. It is an emotional roller coaster that I wouldn't miss out on. If at all possible I have fallen more in love with Blake. He is edgier, harder and definitely sexier. I would definitely recommend this book. It is a must read.

Ah, Meredith. How I love this series and how your writing keeps getting better with each book. I also love how this one has a bit more kink in it and it felt like a realistic transition as their
relationship grows. I felt my heart aching in many parts and then also found myself yelling at characters for their stubbornness
and stupidity. But I see that as a sign of a well-written book- especially one where I'm on a roller coaster of emotions and thoroughly
swept up in the story, engaged and worrying about the characters.

While there is a bit of foreshadowing half way through the book in regards to what happens in the end, it doesn't seem too forced
because this is after all, a high profile character. You'll understand what I mean once you read it. Though parts of me are already
screaming at the characters in regards to the next book in the series. Again, a testament to how invested I have become in this fun,
fictional getaway. Loved this one and can't wait for the fourth.

You won’t want to miss this book; it is a true page turner. You’ll be pulled into the world of Blake and Erica and never want to leave. The suspense of what is going to happen next will keep you wanting more. Hardline goes in directions I didn’t think were possible. You can feel the love that these two have for each other and the challenges that they have to go through for their relationship to survive. I can’t wait till the next book comes out.

    Not happy!!

So i normally don't write reviews, but I am so dissapointed I felt the need to share my opinion. I am only half way through and am only making myself finish because I keep hoping it gets better before the end. Erica has totally lost who she is and is not standing up for herself at all. Blake is a winey spoiled brat who, if he doesn't get his way becomes withdrawn and totally ignores Erica until she caves and gives him what he wants. He is totally abusive on ALL levels. He' a
jerk and she is beat down.

    Good

Great read though some of the sex scenes and the guy's behavior half way into the book were unsettling and borderline abusive. Did not like it at all. I thought Blake was a jerk and her, well, she was dumb for putting up with it. But then things changed and he was back to the loving partner of previous books all the way till the end. One other thing I did not like: there is one more book (or more, who knows?). Paying for three, relatively short (200 pages) books merits an ending. I am tired of these serials, they are a rip-off. Let's hope that this series ends with book 4 and does not become a money pit.

Although the series was good, this third book was something of a disappointment. There was not a define in the third book. Although the series is great, Hardine, the third book in the Hacker series, could have been the last book in the series. I feel at this point the author is just trying to extend the book and make more sales instead of making the third book a fantastic read

What another amazing book from Meredith!!! Loved this book. Loved how controlling Blake is becoming as we get deeper in the series. How hot was the kitchen table scene. Makes me think of mine every time I walk past it. Can't wait for book 4 to come out. So exited to see what comes up next with all the things that were laid out in this book. Don't hesitate to pick this up its amazing. By far my favorite in the series now!!!

Meredith Wild has set the world of Erica Hathaway and Blake Landon aflame!

It is no secret I am following this series with an eagle eye. Erica is a successful entrepreneur, with a thriving business. Forces are conspiring against her but she has her BFF Alli back in the fold and Blake at her side.

This book took some serious twists and turns. It is by far the most emotionally gut wrenching of all the available books in the series to date. I was a bit apprehensive, overwhelmed by what I read at times. As I read the last line of the book, I was totally satisfied with the direction of the book.

The story is intriguing-- MW is also an incredibly accessible author who has created a warm, welcoming Facebook street team where her fans come together to help her celebrate a plethora of milestones and accolades and all things naughty.

I am very proud to recommend this book to everyone who loves intelligent writing, sexy billionaire hackers, fiercely independent women and a storyline that is

revving up for some game changing revelations.

    Good Read

I enjoyed the first 2 installment.....truly were page turners, but I was hoping to come to a conclusion on the 3rd series. I will admit the 3 rd installment is my least favorite. I hope the 4th installment is the last, if not I will have to draw my own conclusion to the story...the first 2 books in the series shoud be 5 stars...
