As a fan of Cole Riley going back to the Holloway House, I knew it was going to be sexy, on the mark streetwise, and full of action. It had been a long time since I read his stuff. Cootie was full of the complex emotions all jailbirds have when they return to the world. I understood why he wanted to save his baby gurl from the life. The streets can be sometimes full of evil and bad intentions. I also understood why Audrey wanted to leave the life of vice. Nobody wants to be considered meat. Riley is a writer who knows the streets and crime. He can write circles around a lot of them out there. The book is a serious read. Lots of fun and thrills. Welcome back, Cole!
