    Editing issues

The first and third books were fun, fast-paced, enjoyable reads. I will definitely look for more by those authors.

The Night With The Doctor had some problems. The characters were great, conflct was excellent. But I felt like the author got confused in mid-revision. At one point the character is described as dressed in retro 40's, then she's described as 60's with a beehive, then SOMEBODY dressed in retro 60's bellbottoms, but I'm not sure who or when.

There were just too many minor characters to keep them all straight. Too many dear old friends, too many backstories . . . . I feel as though I just read #12 in a 12-book series.
