Overview

Once again, we are honored to publish yet another rediscovered work of the great. late pioneer in New Thought, William Walker Atkinson. In this 285-page primer the Atkinson covers from A to Z "Telepathy, Nature's Finer Forces and all of the Higher Spirit Manifestations. As always is style is clear and too the point. Here's a short except:

"One of the most common mistaken conceptions of the average student of the occult sciences, and of so-called "psychic phenomena" in general, is that which may be expressed by the term "supernatural." This term, as you know, is used to express the idea of "that which is outside of the realm of Nature, and of Nature's laws."

Knowledge Versus Faith

"As a matter of fact, as all the advanced students and teachers of the occult doctrine know full well, we have no direct knowledge whatsoever of anything that is "outside of the realm of nature, and of Nature's laws." It is true that we may, by an act of faith, profess to believe in powers and beings entirely apart from the great realm of Nature--in fact, most persons do believe in such powers and beings in connection with their formal religion--but their belief is entirely within the category of Faith, and is not even pretended to be based upon actual experience and phenomenal manifestation."

Any student who is interested in the vast invisible world and its powers should consider reading this work.

Meet the Author

William Walker Atkinson (Dec. 5, 1862 – Nov. 22, 1932) was an attorney, merchant, publisher, and author, as well as an occultist and an American pioneer of the New Thought movement. He authored many books using the pseudonyms Theron Q. Dumont and Yogi Ramacharaka.

Because of Atkinson's personal secrecy and extensive use of pseudonyms, he is now largely forgotten, despite having obtained mention in past editions of Who's Who in America, Religious Leaders of America. He wrote more than 100 books during the last 30 years of his life. We have rediscovered him and his masterpiece on reincarnation.

This book covers in a direct way some of the great mysteries of physic power, spiritualism, channeling, mind power and tapping into the unseen universal powers. It is a journey for those with open minds and is not for the faint-hearted. I didn't buy all of the author's assertions, but I found the book a very good read!
