Children's LiteratureHarold has become a star on HBO's "Family" and the programs have been in turn adapted into early readers. One hot night Harold can't sleep so he thinks of a way to cool down, he decides that a trip under the sea will be just the thing for him. His adventures always seem to turn out right as long as he has his purple crayon. For example, when they encounter a shark, he draws a cage. And when they need to head for the surface he draws some diving gear. Adventure over, Harold heads home and one can only wonder with all of his nighttime activity how little Harold manages to keep awake during the day. The pictures have the look of computer generated animation stills. 2003, HarperCollins, Ages 4 to 7.
