I absolutely loved this book. It was perfect for my rainy day off by the fire. The character's feelings are wonderfully descriptive. I found myself laughing and almost crying throughout. I was almost impatient to see what would happen and nearly rushed myself to the end. It was worth my wait and I will reread this one when i need a mood lifter. As a fan Austen, Lauren Willig, Mary Balogh, Amanda Quick and others, I will quickly be adding Harrington's book to my pile of favorites.

I couldn't put this book down! I loved the characters, setting and plot. I was a little disappointed how the ending was rushed, other than that flat out loved the book.

This is just one of those books that is a wonderful story and you won't be able to put it down. I am definitely going to look for more books by this author. I loved the setting, the story line, all of it. I read a ton of books and rarely do I rate one a 10 but this one is a 10.

This is the second book that I've rad by this author and both of them were excellent. She is an excellent writer and makes her characters come alive. The only thing I didn't like about this book was that it could have really used an epilogue....it ended too abruptly.

Good character development and she does a great job of putting the reader in the scene. I love to read her books when I need a little pick me up and have the need to focus on the simpler things in life. Very nice to have happy endings for a change. I have recommended her books to several of my friends.

The author makes you laugh and cry in this book. It keeps you captivated so that you want to continue to read the book till the end. I have enjoyed The Bridal Veil, and A Taste of Heaven,by the same author Alexis Harrington. I will be reading her full collections and they are lent me books for your Nook Color. Wonderful books!

This is the first book I've read my Alexis Harrington, it won't be the last. I couldn't put it down, read the entire book in less than 24 hours. I have already downloaded another one of her books to my Nook.

I loved this book. I literally could not put it down. It caught my attention in the first couple of pages and kept it until the very last page. I noticed that some of the reviews said that the ending was rushed but I think it was just that you didn't want the story to end.

Overview
With blistering humiliation, Melissa Logan stood by in mute horror as her husband sold her to pay a debt. She’d already realized that marrying Coy Logan to escape her miserable life with a drunken father and two lazy brothers had been a ghastly mistake. Coy dragged her to Dawson City to join the Yukon gold rush. Now worse off than ever, she was penniless with a new baby and “belonged” to Dylan Harper, a man said to have a heart of stone and a meat cleaver under his store counter that he wielded without hesitation. Melissa never felt so desperate in her life.Dylan Harper wanted his $1,200, not a wife. But afraid if he didn’t accept Logan’s offer, ...
