This book is not what it appears.

This NOT Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This is only an analysis of the first book of the Harry Potter series for college students.

    more from this reviewer

    Sparknotes is Sparknotes is Sparknotes

I see many a review lambasting B&N for not having the Potter e-books. Dig this: only JK Rowling has the rights to publish Potter ebooks.

As for this particular book, it's a Sparknotes edition focused on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. You know Sparknotes, right? Like Cliffnotes? Analysis of literature? You following me yet?

B&N is not selling the Potter oevre because nobody but the author now has the ebook and audio rights. This Sparknotes edition is valuable to those individuals who seek an in depth discussion of the book(s) and analysis of the story, plot, scene and sequence.

On that note, this Sparknotes edition gets five stars!

    For all of you wondering...

Harry potter isn't a ebook because jk isn't letting barnes &noble or amazon publish harry potter in to an ebook. I heard she's asking for more money. But I really dont believe that .
