I loved this book!!! I love Gene Statton-Porter. She is a beautiful, eloquent writer. This book is about David who is a harvester of plants that have medicinal value and sells it to pharmaceutical companies to make medicines. He is a very strong man, but he is also very lonely. He has a vision of the girl of his dreams and he starts preparing his land and house for her. It is a heart-touching story about his true and honest character especially in the way with which he cares for the woman of his dreams. This is a must-read. Plus, Stratton-Porter's description of nature is beautiful. Her books are always so honest, pure, innocent, and true.
