I loved her Tastes and Flavors of San Antonio cookbook which has great and easy recipes kicked up with canned green chilies. A recipe book dedicated to the Hatch Chile has been a void for a long time and Gloria filled this cookbook with approximately 300 recipes that cover every spectrum of interest. For those that love Hatch this is a one stop shop when looking for recipes. No longer will lovers of the Hatch say "What do you put it in". When I'm stumped with what to fix for dinner, I grab Gloria's cookbook for a quick Tex Mex satisfying meal.
I fixed my largest Pyrex with her Pimento Scalloped potatoes for Easter and it was instantly wiped out. Literally wiped out. My granddaughter came over and two days later and asked if there were anymore potatoes left. I'm from Northern Wisconsin so I planted 70 hatch Chile plants to compliment this great cookbook
