Meet the Author

Jessica Penot is a behavioral health therapist with an MS degree in clinical psychology and is an author of Haunted North Alabama, also published by The History Press. As an award-winning fiction writer, she has published two novels, Death's Dream Kingdom and Circe. She is a member of the American Ghost Society and the Penn Writer's Association.
Amy Petulla is an attorney and mediator who always loved taking ghost tours with her children, though she was surprised that a tourist town like Chattanooga did not have one of its own. So when she stopped practicing law and had some time on her hands, she decided to start one herself. Chattanooga Ghost Tours, Inc., was named one of the top ten ghost tours in the country by TripAdvisor about the time she started work on this book. The tour has proven so popular that it has recently added an investigation incorporating the latest in ghost-hunting technology. Besides coauthoring Haunted Chattanooga, she has also written numerous articles for newspapers and magazines, such as the Pulse, Chattanooga Parent and Breaking Ground magazine.
