Rita Cook is a writer/editor who specializes in a variety of subjects, primarily travel, entertainment and automobiles, with a special emphasis on haunted houses and ghosts, since she grew up in a house full of ghosts. She most recently published a book titled A Brief History of Fort Worth with The History Press and co-wrote a book to be released in the fall called Tourist Town Guides: Fredericksburg, Texas. She also has a book, Haunted Dallas, to be released.

    Fun read!

    I really enjoyed reading this book. She gave the history to the places and I enjoyed reading about the people the area's streets and buildings were named for. If you'd like some places to go yourself to look for ghosts, this would be a fun read to find some.
