    I thought the book was good overall. However I kept getting frus

    I thought the book was good overall. However I kept getting frustrated with how the author does not describe the characters or Jade's surroundings. I still have no clue what the other characters look like which makes it hard to get a mental picture. I even went back to the beginning of the book to see if i accidentally skipped over her describing how Kane looked. Also, this may seem dumb but when she gets furniture for her apartment the author doesn't describe what it looks like, or how her apartment is decorated, so you don't get a real image of what Jade's surroundings look like. Maybe I'm being picky but I like being able to picture the characters' surrounding and the other characters in the novel. It helps me connect with the characters and feel like I've been transported into the book watching their lives. If the author would have been more descriptive I would have easily given this book another star.

    I really enjoyed this book, had a hard time putting it down. It had just enough romance, unlike some books, where the sex parts make up the entire book. I will read the next one in the series for sure.

    I was surprised it was as good as it was. It had suspense and in

    I was surprised it was as good as it was. It had suspense and interesting characters and enough sex to keep me reading lol. At the end I was left wondering about the other characters lives. I like that although its supernatural it's not exaggerated and it felt down to earth. Very much enjoyed it and I would have paid to read it. I can tell you it's much better then a lot of harlequin novels lol.

    Good read

    Good and interesting for a free read. Characters blend well together and the plot developed quickly and efficiently. The only thing it lacked was a better description of the characters, always good to have a mental picture of what they look like and that doesn't really come across. The paranormal aspect was very interesting, a bit scary and very descriptive. You get a very good feel for it...

    amazing!

    I love the book! I think i have a new favorite author! I felt like i was there, and there is no way not to fall in love with these characters! They are funny, sasy, and a loving group of people fiercly loyal to each other! I cant wait to read the next one! I hope there are many more Jade Coulhan books in the future!

    Disappointed!

    I read a lot of pretty good reviews for this book but found myself disappointed. The character descriptions were weak...never got very attached to any of the people, even the main character. I think the plot could have had some twists and turns (I was hoping for at least one or two) but was lacking there also. Waste of time and a very mediocre story!

    I like to read mysteries and this caught my attention because I am traveling to New Orleans later this year. I thought the mystery was good but there was not a "flavor" of New Orleans. It was mentioned in the story but not as developed as I hoped
