Meet the Author

Theresa Ragan grew up in a family of five girls in Lafayette, California. Before writing fiction, Theresa was a legal secretary for a large corporation. Pregnant with her fourth child and on leave of absence, she read her first romance novel and knew instantly what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. After 19 years of rejections, Theresa decided to self-publish. She went on to sell over 300,000 books in a little over a year and recently signed her first publishing contract.

Theresa has garnered six finals in RWA’s prestigious Golden Heart contest. Other books include: Return of the Rose, A Knight in Central Park, Taming Mad Max, and Finding Kate Huntley. She and her family live in Northern California.

    Cute.

    This book is written in an often rambling but conversational style. Do not read it with the expectation of legal or medical accuracy and you will not be disappointed. The stress on family values make it engaging. As a family practitioner, and mother of 3, I was bothered by possible reprocussions regarding sexual intercourse 3 weeks after delivery (among other innacuracies regarding reasonable timelines that could lead new mothers to experience feelings of failure regarding physical and emotional recovery so soon after their infant is born). If you are looking for a light, cute story with little substance for a summer vacation read, as I was, you will not be disappointed.

    I just finished reading this book it is the first I heard about

    I just finished reading this book it is the first I heard about the
    author and the title caught my interest since it was 3.99 for a nook
    book I thought I would take a chance. I am glad I did she hooked me on
    the story the first couple of pages and then there was no stopping. The
    story was well written and did not disappoint me with the ending. If you
    are like me a avide reader and refuse to spend more than 5.00 on a nook
    book it was well worth the purchase. Since I enjoyed the story line so
    much I intend to purchase some of her other books.

    Readable

    The beginning of this book made me cringe. The writing style was repetitive and amateur. However, it did improve some. The book is rather predictible but its an okay read if there's nothing else.

    Enjoyed!

    I really liked this book! It was an easy read and very engaging. Although it was predictable, I still didn't want to put it down. I look forward to reading more from this author.

    Didn't even finish this one!

    I very rarely give up on a book, but this one just never grabbed me. It was kind of hokey and not really what I was hoping for after reading other reviews. I wouldn't recommend this one, but I may try another of Theresa Ragan's books.

    LOVED IT !!!

    I loved it. I could not believe this book was over 500 pages because I was at the end before I realized it. I would have liked a second book about the other relationship. I feel like we were cheated in not finding out how that progressed. Overall, I love everyone of her books.
