Overview

Growing up, Jill Garrison never daydreamed about having the perfect wedding. Instead, she dreamt about having a baby. Boy or girl, it didn't matter. Unfortunately, her fiancé can't have children. Determined to realize her lifelong dream of having a baby, Jill spends years searching for a company (CryoCorp) that provides high quality donor sperm. Everything is right in Jill's world until her wedding day when her fiancé leaves her at the altar to be humiliated before friends and family. She doesn't waste any time moving from New York City to California to start over. And she keeps her appointment with CryoCorp. She may never have the wedding or the husband, but nothing is going to stop her from having a baby. She's tired of everyone telling her what to do. The baby she's carrying is hers and hers alone. Nobody can take that away from her.

Or can they?

Meet the Author

Theresa didn't know she wanted to be a writer until she read Jude Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armor in 1992. She spent the next five years researching medieval times and writing Return of the Rose. She was also working full time and raising four children, but she knew she was a writer when nothing could stop her from getting the words to the page.

She has garnered six Golden Heart nominations in Romance Writers of America's prestigious Golden Heart Competition for her work. After 19 years of rejections from traditional publishers, Theresa self-published in 2011 and went on to sell over 300,000 books in a little over a year. She recently signed her first publishing contract with Thomas & Mercer.

Theresa writes medieval time travels, contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and thrillers under the name T.R. Ragan.

This book is written in an often rambling but conversational style. Do not read it with the expectation of legal or medical accuracy and you will not be disappointed. The stress on family values make it engaging. As a family practitioner, and mother of 3, I was bothered by possible reprocussions regarding sexual intercourse 3 weeks after delivery (among other innacuracies regarding reasonable timelines that could lead new mothers to experience feelings of failure regarding physical and emotional recovery so soon after their infant is born). If you are looking for a light, cute story with little substance for a summer vacation read, as I was, you will not be disappointed.

I just finished reading this book it is the first I heard about the author and the title caught my interest since it was 3.99 for a nook book I thought I would take a chance. I am glad I did she hooked me on the story the first couple of pages and then there was no stopping. The story was well written and did not disappoint me with the ending. If you are like me a avide reader and refuse to spend more than 5.00 on a nook book it was well worth the purchase. Since I enjoyed the story line so much I intend to purchase some of her other books.

the story was so funny it think while i reading it my mother in law and my husband thought that i had lost my mind the story at times was kinda hard to follow but it was so funny that it was well worth it liked that it wasnt the typical love story and all that follows the only thing that i could have done without was all the extra stories within the book if you are going to write a book make it about one couple not a bunch i would have like seprate books about the other couples more but i really liked it so funny

Seldom have I enjoyed a story as much as this one and it was one of the most unconventional stories I have read. I am sure anybody reading this will love it as much as I did.

This was a good heartfelt read. No overblown sex scenes. No excessive bad or offensive language, and a decent length story. Good author.

I loved this book. The story was well written and I loved all of his family and her friends. I think that the little side stories with his siblings really added to the greatness of the book. I highly recommend this book!!!!
