Hawaiian Touch

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Richie Unterberger
According to the liner notes, this is "the first-ever recording of pure acoustic steel and slack-key guitar duets." It's a serene, even sleepy affair that doesn't build up too much energy, but does reflect the steel Hawaiian guitar sound, especially, at its most tropical.

    Highly Recommended

This is one of my all-time favorite hawaiian albums. Its an all instrumental album filled with evocatively beautiful old school hawaiian guitar sounds. Barney's slide playing is amazing. This is a must have album. The highlight is Barney playing one number solo on lap steel. Will bring you back to the magic of the islands.
