Indeed, this format has greatly improved the overall quality of digital video, but capturing, editing, and outputting HDV can be tricky. That's where "HDV Filmmaking" comes into play. As one of the first books on the subject of HDV, this useful reference will take you through the entire spectrum of HDV production and post-production, from choosing a high-definition video format and an HDV camcorder, to acquiring and editing HDV, to working with advanced HDV effects and delivering your finished product.
