Rebecca Totilo has brought yet another great and informative read - Heal with Essential Oil. After I have read her other book, Organic Beauty with Essential Oil, I have become sure that her next book would be equally delightful. And I was right. Heal with Essential Oil, just like her first book, is a book to keep. Heal with Essential Oil is a one-stop guide for everything essential oil. It contains everything we need to know about essential oils; and it’s amazing how it is possible with just 200+ pages! This book seems like 10 informative books in one. And aside from its content, I also like how it was written and organized. It is really reader-friendly: it opens with the basics to more advanced fine points to nifty recipes specific for different needs and uses. It even has detailed charts and outlined tips/guidelines for the readers’ convenience and quick reference. The book discusses eight essential oils: Cinnamon, Peppermint, Clove Bud, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary, and Tea Tree. While explaining the uses of the oils mentioned above, it also ropes in each of the eight’s brief history, benefits, and remarkable features. Totilo included 125 handy recipes intended not only for beauty fixes and remedy for health problems, but for emotional well-being as well. It covers remedies to flu and body pains to body care formulas even up to disinfectant, cleaners, and candles – everything possible with essential oils, it covers well! I'm in awe of Totilo’s organic strategies and one-dimensional approach to living a healthy lifestyle. Her works endeavor to perk up lifestyle by dwindling this modern-day world's complexities. Thumbs up again for her! I’m totally keeping this book somewhere accessible.
