    This Book is Life-Changing!!!!

This book WILL save marriages and families!!!! The author is so REAL and totally exposes herself to the point where you as a reader feel the immense pain she endured. While the book does have a happy ending, it is not a "fluffy, feel-good" read. It gets to the root of many issues that are ripping families apart today. The author speaks out on subjects that many hold as painful secrets in their hearts. Ross offers true HOPE for what appears to be a hopeless situation for so many. A marriage in total shambles CAN BE SAVED and this biography is living proof!

Several references in the Holy Bible pertain to “ears to hear” and the words “eyes to see.” The scripture that best describes this story is Ezekiel 12:2. “Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.” This is Deborah’s story.

Deborah Ross has written a valuable book of compassionate Christian advice for failing marriages. She experienced numerous hardships and challenges in her personal life and bravely revealed brutal truths that her empty marriage brought her to a near mental breakdown, severe stress and temptations that might have lured her away from her strong intimacy with God and consequently – divorce.

Ms Ross remained prayerfully strategic and strong in her battle to bring her husband to his knees before the Lord. She proved that standing and believing God’s Word without doubt for her husband’s salvation and “If God brings you to it, He’ll see you through it” – my favorite true quotation - works. Her faith and relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit was essential to bring about the changes and miracles she prayed for.

Deborah’s heartbreaking story was at times very awkward to read because of personally relating too much of what she went through. This story is not about me – but I saw myself throughout the sad and emotional conflicts she experienced. Her story is very disturbing to my own emotions and has given me hope for such a grace of God to fall on my own prayers.

“Have you ever wondered if you married the wrong guy?” The first sentence of her story struck me as bold….however a question that every wife might have wondered, I admit I have. Deborah then further questions …“Did you think once you became born-again, that your husband would quickly see the difference Christ has made in your life and repent, only to be let down by his indifference to the need for this great salvation?” How did Deborah know my own thoughts and questions? Her questions don’t stop there and she is preparing the reader for victory. “If you have answered "yes" to any of these questions, this book was written with heartfelt wisdom, biblical knowledge, and experience just for you!”

She lays out eight action instructions to follow and beautiful scriptures throughout the book to meditate on God’s word in applying her principles to our own situations. Deborah Ross is clearly an organized individual, extremely talented, self admitted type-A personality with a discerning and wise soul. If an unbeliever picks up this book, I pray that person will read Deborah’s writing with an open mind and follow the journey to salvation. Undoubtedly, reading this book as a believer will enhance your personal relationship with the Lord and add wisdom to your soul. At the end of the book is a lovely prayer for marriage, as well as a prayer for salvation. Perhaps her advice isn’t for everyone, or some parts of her story won’t initially be understood, which in my estimation would depend on where you are in your journey with the Lord.

Overall, Deborah writes from the compassionate heart of a mature Christian, and it would be an honor to meet her personally. She knows from where she speaks.

Using Deborah’s own words for a final thought and my compliance – she says, "It is my prayer that the Lord will use my testimony to give you hope in what may seem to be a hopeless situation.”

This book is not another fluffy Bible study of "how to" but rather a lay-it-on-the-line transparent testimony and radical challenge for you to consider in being God's chosen woman for such a time as this (Esther 4:14)!

    Book Review for
    “Healing A Broken Marriage”

Deborah Ross writes a frank and compelling portrayal of the pain that she suffered as she faced the dismal facts that led to the ultimate unraveling of her long term marriage. “Healing A Broken Marriage,” documents her passionate journey of truth that set her on an in depth course of personal and spiritual awakening and discovery, which unveiled her greatest need, a relationship with Jesus Christ. Ultimately, she grasped the truth of a Savior’s love and power that encouraged her to a life of earnest submission towards applying godly principles that she discovered in the Bible, beginning with the laying of an unshakeable foundation. In this, “one of a kind,” confessional book, she shares hard won insight with her audience about the basic concepts of overcoming great marital conflict, as well as the astounding account of spiritual healing and eventual renewed trust and joy of her restored relationships. “Healing A Broken Marriage,” promises to help anyone who reads its poignant message, even the most desperate. This book is not just another marriage manual, but instead, is a story of triumph and hope that declares that in the end, prayers do find answers and dreams do come true.

    So Inspiring

Healing a Broken Marriage: Love Never Fails is not only her testimony of how God took her broken marriage and breathed new life into it. The book also provides helpful teachings from the Word of God, offers challenging insights, and imparts faith to the reader. I love that throughout the book, she rejects what all the naysayers try to speak into her life, and chooses instead to stand on what the Holy Spirit has spoken to her. She is living proof that God's Word NEVER returns void. (Is. 55:10-11)

Recommend for everyone experiencing a broken marriage!

In this book, Deborah Ross has laid out her life's story for all to read. She was brutally honest about the state of her marriage and the disappointment that abounded. But through her hell on Earth account, she brings encouragement and hope that if one stands believing and unwavering for her spouse's salvation that she (he) can triumph.

Her story was heartbreaking but real. One wonders, how she withstood the attacks of the enemy. But she stood strong and came out triumphant. Her husband is now a devoted Christian and family man. She states that what God did for her - He will do for you!

I recommend this book for anyone, experiencing a broken marriage - be it due to adultery, addictions, finances, or being unequally yoked - yet has vowed to honor your wedding vows "'til death do us part". You will be greatly encouraged and armed for battle!

GREAT BOOK! "Healing a Broken Marriage" is NOT the standard self-help fare!

This inaugural work from Deborah Ross is a credit to the plethora of self-help books in the Christian market. This is a gritty, raw look at issues many marriages face. And while most works meant to strengthen some aspect of life are neatly woven together with platitudes and philosophies that often oversimplify the issue, this book is foundationally anchored in SCRIPTURE! The Word is exalted and the reader is clearly and methodically taught how to apply God's Word in difficult circumstances. It is refreshing to read Deborah's candid, transparent approach and witness the effects of solid, Godly principles that REALLY do work when sacrificially applied. If you are looking for another regurgitation of self-help niceties that don't really work, this is NOT the book for you. However, if you seek true answers to complex issues that require humility and hard work, this book will encourage, strengthen and inspire you that 1) it can be done and 2) YOU can do it!!
