The currents of new age run throughout Healing Music, from the traditional woodwinds and didgeridoo of "Earth's Belly" to the lingering twang of the sitar in Amit Chaterjee's "Raga Yaman-Kalyan." Stephen Halpern's "Interstellar Light" is a drifting, synth-based piece, while Tom Kenyon offers a more traditional new age sound on the lush and gently melodic "Lullaby."
