    Not a good choice for a Nook. It is probably a wonderful book if you can browse through with book in hand, but difficult to navigate on a Nook. Too bad you cannot get a refund for an e-book purchase. I put this in archive, never to be read again.

    Wonderful and useful book

    I knew about Dr. Aggarwal already from his research at M.D. Anderson on curcumin which I use to help keep my multiple myeloma at bay. His book is great, with details on the various spices, photos, a list illnesses for which they might be useful (traditional medicinal uses and with notes on modern scientific trials), and even recipes using the spices. Everything you ever wanted to know about these spices! The best part was that I used the enteric peppermint suggested in the book to treat IBS and it worked! This book has a permanent place on my reference shelf and will probably be a Christmas gift for special friends.

    A Must have book!

    We have this as an Ebook as we are out of the country and we plan to purchase the 'hard copy' when we return. It is a must have book for every home. We have now started to incorporate spices in all our meals and even make our own tea with cinnamon and bay leaf. Lots of information and recipes and what spices go together. Our home made soups are amazing now that we are understanding a bit more about spices.

    Highly informitive and helpful I recommend it!

    This book is so helpful. It not only teaches you about the spices and their origin, but it tells you where they came from, what they are used for as far as your health, and how to cook with them. This book is a must for anyone that want to eat healthy, and help whatever condition you are suffering from. It has helped me with some of my health issues. The recipes are great also. I fun and informative book to have. I keep it on top of my mocrowave so I have it handy daily.
