    Necessity for the Life-Style Change

Back in October I began training with a personal trainer to meet requirements for a modeling agency I had recently signed with. For the first few months I was on a 1000 calorie diet. Now that I have met my goals and gone from diet mode to maintenance mode I am still very aware and interested in the amount of calories and nutrition that I am taking in at every meal. It's like this book was designed for me. The recipes are easy to follow and use easy-to-find ingredients. And each recipe is broken down into calories and nutritional amounts so I can continue to track/plan my meals every day. One thing I've learned since first training back in October is that acquiring a healthy body requires a major life-style change. This book is an absolute necessity for just that.

    Good book overall

If you are trying to use the glycemic index to lose weight then this is a great book for you. It has hundreds of recipes & colorful illustrations. Most of the recipes are things that just about anyone would like, some are a bit more exotic or for someone who isn't finicky. Overall this book is terrific, it gives you inspiration to make new dishes that will still allow you to lose weight.

    Excellent cookbook

I've only tried a few of the recipes at this time, but so far, I'm impressed. Even a couple of recipes I thought might just be average have turned out to be delicious.
