Overview

'I know you are coming in for a checkup tomorrow, but I wanted to tell you that the tests results came back from pathology, and you have leiomyosarcoma.'

That was the last thing I heard. My lips kept moving, and words were coming out of my mouth, but my brain was somewhere else entirely, frozen in time. I was in my own episode of The Twilight Zone.

Tish Hagee Tucker was a young working mother of two beautiful toddler girls when she went in for a routine doctor's visit for bronchitis and found out days laterâ€"over the phoneâ€"that she had a rare form of cancer. With her world changed in an instant, the questions were numerous, and the facts were few, but one fact remained: God was in control, and he was not surprised by the circumstances.

Hear My Cry: How Grace Conquered Cancer is the true story of one woman who became a living miracle. Readers will learn not only about the unparalleled treatment Tish received and how her body responded, but how prayer, the gathering together of the body of Christ, and reliance on the one true God helped her to overcome and encourage others. Let the promises in Hear My Cry make your life a miracle too!

To See the Treasure in Tragedy

After reading this book, you will have a clear understanding of how to walk into the healing promises that God has purchased for us, and how to "win without apology." Tish walks out of fear and into a fight called yielding, with her weapon being the One and Only source, Jesus Christ. Her faith in her future healing, regardless of the symptoms, is why she today, can say, I am healed.

Tish allows us into her thoughts as fear tried to take its grip on her and she shows us exactly what she did to beat it. Furthermore, Tish gives us a glimpse into the gestures of love that matter, and what it feels like to be on the receiving end of unsolicited, non professional, negativity and advice. "A broken spirit, who can bear?" ... Tish boldly states, "When God gives you something, nothing and no one can take it away, or destroy it unless you allow them to."

Next there is the faith of Kassidee, her four year old daughter, who spoke simple yet profound words of truth while her mommy was in the battle of her life. "Mommy, Jesus died on this cross for you and me." Only to see that months later little Kassidee herself allowed Jesus to save her life from a flesh eating bacteria. Her recovery was swift and complete. Applying the truth of the Cross produced miracle after miracle for Tish and her family.

The perfect timing of our Heavenly Father, the love and unity of a family of prayer warriors, the faith of a child, the tenacity of a women who chose "better over bitter", will live to be the wife God made her to be and to see her children grow and serve God. I applaud Tish for loving God enough to journal her way through this tough journey from cancer to wellness, just so we too can clearly see the love of God and how to apply His word to our life and to life of our loved ones. God showed up and taught Tish, that she is "worth it."

I recommend this book for anybody who knows tragedy, or knows someone who has been through tragedy, because it is a journey from a deep dark place, to the light and love of the truth of Gods promise of wellness and healing.

    Hear My Cry

I especially liked the book becs i could so relate to Tish's story, even though I wasn't the one w/ the disease. I did have a daughter Lizzy, who was in a similar situation and I remembered fighting the overwhelming fear, the "hits keep coming" and I remember how exceptionally close God felt to me...Tish described these things perfectly. My favorite chapter was the second to the end about celebrating. This book is really inspirational and encouraging and would bless anyone who read it!

For anyone who is facing an overwhelming situation in life.

As I was reading this book the chapters came to life as I lingered on every word. As I came to the last pages I felt very privilleged to have a window into Tish's journey. Tish's story is compelling and truly a testament to what faith in the word of God and prayer can accomplish.
