The elegance of Hear With Your Heart is its readability. It’s a real page-turner! We learn that “it’s the little things that count” through analogies to baseball and crossword puzzles and in engaging vignettes including a first grader’s recollections, a teenager seeking a later curfew, a conversation for a salary promotion and an encounter between seatmates on an airplane. Hear With Your Heart explains how small, day-to-day episodes are the real stuff of life that truly defines who we are.

I definitely recommend this book. I picked up this book last week per the recommendation of a friend and read it in its entirety on my last plane ride home. This book is so on point and provides the reader with a lot of good information. It reminded me how important the little (and simple) things are that are so many times forgotten and overlooked in our busy lives that make a real difference in relationships. I really enjoyed the author's conversational writing style which made for an enjoyable and easy read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. How often have you read a self-help book and had one of those ahah moments? This does it to you over and over again. We are bombarded by noise coming to us all the time and have lost our ability to focus. This book reminds us that when we are engaged in conversation, take the time not only to hear what is being said but listen as well. It's a wonderful reminder for all of us.Was this review helpful?
