A great 'how-to' book on meditation

I have been a yoga student for five years, and find this book one of the most informative, comprehensive books out there. Lots of good information on meditation and why it works.

    Heart and Science of Yoga

Master Perlmutter's Heart and Science of Yoga is an informative, in depth, personal account in the study of yoga science. In the author's unique and often witty style the words on these pages are energized with life transforming possibilities. As a student of yoga science this material is the most effective tool for transformation I have ever experienced. Highly reccommended.

    Just what we need

In this puzzling, beautiful, sometimes frightening world, people of good will, whether self-identified as spiritual seekers or not, are looking for a map, or set of guidelines. 'The Heart and Science of Yoga' is destined to become a well-worn friend for all such people who find it. Through careful, scholarly explanations peppered with personal examples and memorable stories, the authors bring an ancient philosophy to life, and make it immensely practical for 21st century Americans. It is truly just what we need. Do not miss this book!

    A Must Buy!

Whether you have been practicing yoga for years or have only just recently thought about the possibility of incorporating it into your life, this is an invaluable book. Impeccably detailed, yet not intimidating to beginners, this book is immensely readable. It is a well of information and inspiration you can return to as needed. I highly recommend it.
