Wow! This is a book that is easy to read, clearly written and full of wonderful information about heart health. The author really knows her topic and cares about the group she focuses on, African American women. I've never seen this much understandable information in one place that concerns health, especially heart health. This book is a must read for anyone looking for clear, credible information about natural and conventional approaches to heart related wellness, including mind, body and spirit interactions. I really felt like Dr. Yates was talking to me personally as I read the book. The info on diabetes, smoking and what to ask your doctor or nurse was really helpful. I appreciate this resource a lot.
