    Hard to put down!

    I am a fan of Morgan's Mercenaries, and this book was no dissapointment - great plot, great writing, great everything! Definitely worth the time!

    Exciting romantic suspense

    her instructor, Major Dave York taught Captain Maya Stevenson how to fly a helicopter. Though he proved to be a great teacher, he also showed he was a chauvinist firmly believing women did not belong in combat. When offered an opportunity to join a black ops scenario in Peru, Maya jumps at the chance, setting up a search and destroy unit targeting drug lords entering Bolivia. <P> Four years later, York faces discrimination charges. His only hope to save his military career is to travel to Peru to teach Maya how to fly the newest helicopter that Morgan Treyhorn purchased for this cadre. An angry and humiliated York journeys to Maya¿s base only to find a brilliant operation in spite of out dated aircraft. He revises his opinion of women, especially Maya who he now loves. She always loved the person she now feels is the real Dave. However, neither one wants to give up their career, which means stationing on different continents, making the commute a bit difficult. Consequently, a relationship seems doomed to failure. <P> The best-selling ¿Morgan Mercenaries¿ series continues with HEART OF STONE featuring Inca¿s twin sister. Maya, a member of the Black Jaguar Clan, who has paranormal abilities that she accepts as part of her essence. The sexual tension between Dave and Maya feels as if the pages will burn the fingers of the reader, which adds to the audience enjoyment of Lindsay McKenna¿s latest romantic suspense. <P>Harriet Klausner
