Great characters. Great fun. I loved It.
Romance Book Reviews - Toni Standley
One of the best historical novels I've ever read! the hero is all I can imagine in a lover. A wonderful mixture of intrigue and romance.
Romance Reviews - Mary Miller
I love this book--I couldn't put it down.
Book Reviews - Susan Preston
A four and a half star book...The story itself, is excellent. The author did a great job with catching my interest, and holding it. The characters were believable and I found it easy to relate to them. There were no 'loose ends' left. All in all an excellent story.
Book Reviews - Jolene Cecil
Full of intrigue, secrecy, twists and turns and of course a love triangle--but not your average, run-of-the-mill, you-know-what’s-coming saga. No, Carrie Brock brings you on an adventure that will keep you immersed in this 1800’s romance novel till the very end...'Heart of the Diamond' was riveting...This is definitely one for the book clubs!

    A Beautiful Story

I am so happy I took a chance in purchasing this book. What beautiful story of love, forgiveness and redemption. I enjoyed the characters and found myself laughing at some of their exploits and conversations. I also found myself with tears in my eyes at some of the more somber scenes. A very well written book that I highly recommend. I hope the author plans to write more books in the future. More about this family would be an added bonus.
On a side note, this book does contain some passionate kisses and one detailed love scene. While I am not a big fan of detailed love scenes, I didn't feel that it was so overly detailed, nor did it diminish my enjoyment of this beautiful story.

I never thought myself to be one who would enjoy reading a Hist

I never thought myself to be one who would enjoy reading a Historical Romance novel, however Heart of the Diamond by Carrie Brock has officially won me over!

I would say the unexpected heroin in this novel is the young Lady Nicole Langley (Nikki), who is not about to be sold off into a prison they call marriage. While clumsily going about circumventing her pre-arranged marriage, she stumbles upon a most worthy adversary and unexpected courtship that will change the lives of all she holds dear.

The Earl of Diamond (Blake) is definitely your arrogant, swoon worthy, rough around the edges gentleman, that is hell bent on vindicating his honor at all costs. What he doesn’t realize is that while the past can determine your future; what you do in the present can right the wrongs of your past and set you down a new path that leads to honor, friendship, and above all love!

I thoroughly enjoyed the world Carrie Brock painted of a [tastefully] lustful romance that knows no bounds!
