Meet the Author

Born in Hue, Vietnam, Thich Nhat Hanh is a Buddhist monk, poet, scholar, and human rights activist. In 1967, he was nominated by Martin Luther King, Jr. for the Nobel Peace Prize. He is author of more than one hundred books, sixty in English. Previous best-selling books include The World We Have and Buddha Mind Buddha Body. He lives at Plum Village, his meditation center in France, and travels worldwide, leading retreats on “the art of mindful living.”

    Great book

    I loved this book. It's a short book but it's a great book filled with a great amount of insights. It really makes you think and reaffirms a lot of your own beliefs in life. I would totally recommend this book. It is one of my favorites.

    Short, concise, easily understandable, a joy to read!  This book

    Short, concise, easily understandable, a joy to read!  This book gave me more understanding of the Heart Sutra in a short book, more so than many of the long books I have read on the same subject.  I will read it over and over again!
