Rod Kriewall has been writing creatively ever since high school where he took 3rd in a statewide writing competition. He grew up on a farm in the upper Midwest where he attended church and professed faith in Christ at an early age. His professional career led him to the Pacific island of Guam before settling in California. In addition to writing, he has spent much of his life studying and teaching the Bible and, along with his wife, being actively involved in Christian ministry. When asked to turn his creativity toward trees, the result shows not only the prominence and appreciation that trees have in God’s creation, but also the love of climbing trees and the joy that growing up around, and in, trees, has been to his life.
