This is a wonderful book that really captures the spirit of Detr

This is a wonderful book that really captures the spirit of Detroit and the famous people who call it home. Along with vivid, beautiful portraits of the individuals, there are compelling transcripts from their interviews with the photographer. The individuals talk about their memories of the city and how it influenced them. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the transcripts, they are full of interesting stories  with many of them referencing similar venues, events, etc. It really is amazing that all of these famous people (Alice Cooper, Tim Allen, Ted Nugent, Eminem, to name a few) got their start in Detroit. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is either a fan of one of the featured individuals, loves the Motor City or wants to add an amazing photography book to their collection.
