Controversy surrounding the Reverend Moon's Unification Church has died down, and many people are unaware that the group is still active. This new book brings important new information to a subject that was last extensively covered in the early 1980s. Neufeld personally participated in the famous 1982 Madison Square Garden mass wedding and describes what it is like to have one's spouse picked out at random by Moon from a roomful of strangers. The book is elegantly written and lays out in detail the mind control techniques that were used to draw Neufeld into the cult and to keep him locked in the group, afraid to leave, for an entire decade. A powerful, spellbinding read!

It was educational to see the perspective of a person who found this 'Moon' movement to be a negative influence. I am a member of the Unification Church, which is now called Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. The world 'cult' assumes something negative. Christianity applys to the definition of cult. I am sure that many people have been 'brainwashed' by the media and the misunderstood rumors about this movement.
