And when Tellie lost her memory, she believed she was J.B.’s friend. Even he couldn’t be so heartless as to push Tellie aside, and so he played his role...until friendship turned into something deeper than a heartbreaker like J.B. had ever intended.
Then Tellie’s memory returned....

The 'hero' in this story spends his time walking all over Tess and flaunting his women in her face. After hurting her over and over again, she finally leaves and runs away from the pain. Then he just waltzed right into the coffee shop and claims her for his own and she does not give him a hard time about it. She spinelessly gives him what he wanted without making him fight for it. I didn't feel that he earned the right to be with her after all that he did to this woman. He got off way too easily, the bastard.

The book is well written I just don't think the main characters were that believable. Tellie was just too much of a doormat. She let J.B walk all over her and she just takes it. J.b is a big jerk and treats Tellie horribly. I usually like this authors books but this one wasn't one of her best.

The formatting isn' t correct , it's really small and therefore hard to read . Very dissapointed in the publisher. Looks like the pages were just scanned on someones home computer and directly uploaded . Very unprofessionally done. I honestly dont know how good/ bad the book is because i couldn't stand the layout .

A lot of secrets come out throughout this book that make terrible things
happen as some don't stop to listen and ask about the incidents.
Telli and her sisters are brought up by Marge and her husband, who's passed
away. Her brother is also there and his secrets come out also to leave
others hating things that happened.
Grange saved her from the ditch filled with water after the accident. She can't
recall a thing nor the past 1 year of her life.
Shame a tornado had to uproot everything to make them realize what they do have.
Nice romance and mystery all combined into one.

Hate it. Ive read many books from diana palmer and this is the worst story she has written. I enjoy a strong man falling for a good girl plots, but diana went overboard with j.b. I hated that Tellie was a push over and I actually wanted diana palmer to put Tellie with another man instead of J.B. I seriously do my research on dianas books because i feel that some of these books the men are mentally abusive to women. I recommend to read any other book from diana and skip this one.

I've always enjoyed books written by Diana Palmer, and she certainly comes through again with "Heartbreaker." She makes the characters of J.B. and Tillie so real that you actually feel their emotions. A quick and enjoyable read!
