2nd book of a Most Incredible! series

I read lots of books of all genres, and discovered Randy Wayne White in his first book Sanibal Island. Heat Island and the many that follow are fascinating. I am hooked! His protagonist, Doc Ford entertains us with adventure, clandestine activities and witty repartee. He treats his friends (and whoever his current lady is) extremely well. Mr.White's writing is just plain wonderful, as are all his stories. Buy his books now; they are keepers!!

Not one of the best in the series

I have loved every one of the Doc Ford books, except this one. This one I liked but was not engaged as totally as I was with all the others. Maybe because I read them all out of order and this was one of the earliest (#2). It was certainly worth reading but not one of the best
