NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me comes an all-new erotic series of three enigmatic and powerful men, and the striking women who can bring them to their knees.

I knew better than to risk my heart.
But fierce passion comes at a high price.

I grew up believing in right and wrong, good and evil, black and white. I knew better than to trust. And then I met Tyler Sharp.

Bold, charming, and dangerously sexy, Tyler always gets what he wants. But his smile can be deceiving, his dealings sordid, his ambitions ruthless. I thought I was the one woman strong enough to resist him, but our need for each other was too urgent to deny.

One look and I was in trouble. One touch and I was hooked. One night and I became his.

And now that I’ve fallen, there’s no going back.

Heated is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Library Journal

Kenner (Wanted) strikes a chord with her depiction of cool, collected Sloane O'Dell, a highly successful young cop noted for being one of the best in her field. Sloane takes a case off the books for a friend, investigating the disappearance of an exotic dancer. Her ministrations lead her into the club and into the arms of infamous outlaw Tyler Sharp. Sloane knows Tyler has ways of skirting the law; she also knows that he makes her feel more vulnerable, desirable, and free than any man has in her life. While the plot isn't exactly innovative—the hard-boiled female cop going soft for the bad boy who upends everything she stands for—Kendall creates a likable, offbeat character in Sloane, one who makes the reader root for her even as the predictable tale unfolds. VERDICT A steamy story with a dark edge. Recommended for those seeking crime drama with spice.

“Kenner may very well have cornered the market on sinfully attractive, dominant antiheroes and the women who swoon for them, and this second installment of her Most Wanted series goes a long way toward solidifying that claim. Her characters’ scorching, scandalous affair explores the very nature of attraction and desire, redeeming and changing them beyond measure. . . . Fans will no doubt love the games of power, overwhelming passion and self-defining relationship that Kenner has crafted, and come away eager for more.”RT Book Reviews

“Fans of erotic romance will enjoy Heated. The plot is complex, the characters engaging, and J. Kenner’s passionate writing brings it all perfectly together.”—Harlequin Junkie

“In Julie Kenner’s typical masterful storytelling, nothing is as it seems. We are taken deeply into the plot twists and the danger of this erotic journey. The chemistry first felt by both Tyler and Sloanne during their first encounter roars into an all-consuming fire neither one can put out. . . . Take the same journey I did and you will not be disappointed!”—As You Wish Reviews

    I love J Kenner's writing style; it's kind of addicting. I told

I love J Kenner's writing style; it's kind of addicting. I told myself I wasn't going to read that much and ended up going further than I thought. And even though this is only in one POV, I still felt like I knew Tyler enough through dialogue and the MC's thoughts.

I really loved Sloane's voice. She's a cop who's on-leave after being shot. But then she gets thrown into a mystery, and because she's been itching to do work, she jumps in to to help a friend. But what she finds is so much more than duty. In Chicago, she finds Tyler Sharp. Intentionally, actually, and is planning on using seduction to uncover his secrets and find Amy, the girl who's missing. And instead, Sloane is forced to to decide if losing the only man who gets her is worth the picture-perfect black and white rules of her job. Sloane's character development was great. She was confident, sassy, and determined. She was vulnerable to love and to Tyler. Because, before him, she'd never been pushed to open up and let someone in. And no one had ever looked past her mask to see who she really was as a person. Tyler just got her.

And she got Tyler Sharp, the most mysterious man in Chicago. I didn't know what to expect from him, although I was intrigued about his story after he was in Evan's book. He's basically a stranger to everyone, because he doesn't give anything of his life away. But one woman opens him up to love and passion and heat. Tyler is dangerously sexy, loves control in the bedroom, and is also sweet and caring. He's like the perfect blend of good guy and bad boy, though he straddles the line often. In many of his ventures, he uses his money to help women with their futures. But he's also got some illegal activity on the side, something that Evan wanted out of in Wanted. And it's a constant struggle for Sloane to ignore the bad and focus on his good heart. Tyler pushed her to new heights and made sure to catch her when she fell.

Their relationship was STEAMY. Sensual. Passionate. A little on the BDSM side, and even a little sweet. Tyler was all about that control and dominance, and oh boy, was this a hot read! But it was more than sex, more than the uncontrollable heat between them. It was about opening up and letting someone in. It was about love and the power it has to overcome the obstacles.

The plot was about 75% romance and 25% mystery, which is why this is getting 4 stars from me. I wish there had been more emphasis on the mystery. I actually liked that Tyler found out that Sloane was a cop early; anywhere else in the story-line, and it would have created unnecessary drama. BUT. I wanted more of the suspense. It was like one chapter, and then bam! the case is solved. And I was glad to see Evan and Angelina again, as well as Cole and Kat (I'm really excited for their story, assuming it's the two of them).

Heated was a very hot and sensual read with two characters who weren't looking for love and who were bombarded with all the feelings that came with it. I love these knights, and I love their ladies. Another great book in this series!

    Missed the mark

I found myself skimming page after page to find something that resembled reality. I understand that novels are works of fiction, but this plot was way passed that.... a supposedly good cop gets made, and she compromises her career for a criminal with a good heart! REALLY??

Hot, sassy Sloane is on a mission to save a friend so she seeks out the sexy, mysterious Tyler.  When those two come together, watch out for the explosion!  This book is filled with hot and steamy scenes, a bit of humor and enough suspense to keep you hooked.

A perfect follow up to the 1st book in this series and an even sexier alpha male dead set on getting what he wants!

    Enjoy.

I loved this book! I was stupid enough to start reading this at 11 at night and ended up staying up to late. I just could not put it down. There are no words for how amazing the sex scenes are. Wow. Not only is the physical stuff amazing but the story is so good. You are interested in the characters and fall for them, root for them. Another great book!

Yeah FSOG fans will enjoy this novel.
I was not enthralled with the first couple of chapters- a bit unbelievable and choppy writing.
Once past the beginning it was a faster read, the erotic/bdsm passages were good but too many with not
enough mystery or suspense to balance the book.
I haven't read book 1 of this series and don't plan to, but may read book 3 to see where the relationships go.

I am a huge fan of Wanted and was beyond excited when this book

I am a huge fan of Wanted and was beyond excited when this book was announced.  I always knew there was something more to Tyler and I sure was right.  To be honest, I was a little worried at first.  I did not like Sloane during the first couple of chapters.  She kind of came across as someone I would want nowhere near me.  Then she met Tyler and watching her watch him through her eyes gave such insight into why she was the way she was and I immediately became team Sloane.  Watching them play their cat and mouse game as it became so much more kept me glued to my kindle.  I seriously could not put it down and suffered a book hangover the next day.

If you have not read Wanted, you should because it is awesome,  but you do not need to to love this book.  If you are a fade to black kind of gal/guy, then this book is not for you.  It is a scorcher and may melt your ereader.  If you like your romance hot, you bad boys hotter and possibly not as bad as they seem and your heroines smart and no damsel in distress you need this book.  I can not wait for the next book in this series to release in August.  *This book is a complete story and does not have a cliff hanger.*

    Great

I took a little while to get into it but when I did....WOW! I absolutely LOVE Tyler and could read more. This was intense, as she struggled with her beliefs and he with his. The trust that was built between them was something you felt as you read. There were moments of the unknown which moved forward because of the trust that they had for each other. I already loved Wanted and was thrilled to continue to read about those characters. I cannot wait to read about Cole. I highly recommend this series.

Heated to a scorching hot level, this second book in the Wanted

Heated to a scorching hot level, this second book in the Wanted series by Julie Kenner will keep you panting.
It is not Tyler's turn and we are regaled with his maverick story.

If you have been following this series, you know these three guys - Evan, Tyler, and Cole - live life on the edge of the law. Evan is now squeaky clean having made the decision to just stay within the law and get married to Angie. Tyler and Cole have agreed to keep their gentleman's club Destiny on the up and up and so not upset the cart for Evan. Any other business Tyler and Cole own? All bets are off!

Enter Sloanne. She is a cop in Indiana working off the books to try and find a friend who has gone missing. Last know place of employment - Destiny as an exotic dancer. All circumstantial evidence seems to indicate there may be white slavery trades going on at the club. Sloanne is doing everything in her power to find out. If she has to seduce Tyler in order to get her information, then so be it.

In Julie Kenner's typical masterful storytelling, nothing is at it seems. We are taken deeply into the plot twists and the danger of this erotic journey. The chemistry first felt by both Tyler and Sloanne during their first encounter roars into an all consuming fire neither one can put out. Can a law abiding cop ever get tangled with "criminal" like Tyler?

I loved all the twists and heat! The love scenes are real and full of passion with a twist of kinky. Take the same journey I did and you will not be disappointed!
