    Hot Read

Summertime temps have nothing on "Heated Mating", so a pool may be needed to cool you off.

Saroya was rescued from her home planet and mated to Gage before she knew all the rules and customs of his people, but after arriving on Lumineta she soon found herself in love with his brother Linc -- who refuses to share their bed; something that is a common practice on their world because of the lack of women.

When Gage dies Linc promises to take care of her but she soon realizes that there is a reason behind that promise. Action is what counts to a warrior like Linc and "talking is overrated" in his book. When I read that phrase within the pages of the book I felt a kinship to Saroya; I felt her turmoil and understood her determination to get Linc to open up and share his feelings with her.

For such a short story I formed a bond with the characters Saroya and Linc pretty fast, but felt that the plot would have been more enjoyable if I could have read more about their relationship and how they acted before Gage's death. Had there been a little more detail and a better understanding of what came before, this book would have been a keeper for my library.

I truly loved the characters and became enmeshed in their feelings and personalities. I felt the electricity and stimulation coming off the pages between the two, but I wanted more. The author did an amazing job in bringing the characters to life and the sex scenes where sweet and tender with a lot of feeling between the hero and heroine. The editing was good and the plot was adorable, I just felt like the author cut the unique tale too short.

I would recommend this book for those times when you want something short and hot to read. The story was charming and entertaining.

Heated Mating wasn’t as hot that I thought it would be. With a name that Heated Mating you think it would be an erotic story, but it wasn’t.

I really enjoyed it though. I couldn’t imagine being taken off my own planet and taken to another. Everything is just so different then Saroya was used to. She only wanted one mate but thought that she really didn’t have the choice to make her own decision. She really wanted Linc and she had already mated with Gabe his brother.

Linc will not share his mate with anyone. He wants Saroya but she belongs to his brother. Everyone thinks that both brothers are mated to Saroya. Linc decides to stay single. Then his brother dies and Saroya can be his. Only problem is that he doesn’t want to think about Saroya and Gabe together.

I like that even though Linc is in love with Saroya. He still waits for the mourning period to be over before he starts to have a relationship with Saroya. Saroya doesn’t understand what is taking him so long. I enjoyed watching both of their feelings grow for each other.

I truly enjoyed this erotic short story. It was a great introduction to a new world. I think Savannah Stuart did a good job describing this new sci fi world. Linc and Saroya were strong characters and had great chemistry. After the death of Linc's brother and Saroya's mate Linc has to convince Saroya that he wants her now when before he was strictly hands off

The death of Linc¿s brother leaves Saroya without a mate, and Li

The death of Linc’s brother leaves Saroya without a mate, and Linc definitely wants to be her mate. On their planet mates are usually shared between two men, and most think that Linc was already Saroya’s mate, but Linc is different, he doesn’t want to share and wants Saroya for himself.

This is a great story, I loved reading about a culture where because of the overwhelmingly higher amount of men, the culture is to share a mate. Linc and Saroya struggle, they’re obviously very attracted to each other but they have to figure out how to be in a relationship together. Sex is easy, love is hard and this is a great example of that.

Overall, this is a sexy, hot book where the men are very much Alpha warriors and the women can hold their own.

I received an ARC, I was not compensated for my review. This is my honest opinion.

This erotic novella is a quick read but sizzling hot. Even thoug

This erotic novella is a quick read but sizzling hot. Even though this is a Quickie, the story was well written and there is enough detail to flesh out the plot. The characters Saroya and Linc make a cute couple. I found the sex between them very titillating. On a side note - it sweet that on a world where there are so few women that a mating consists of a triad, there still men who do not want to share. The secondary characters were they only linger question I had about Heated Mating; what becomes of Brianna and Aeron? Another pleasant read by author Savannah Stuart.

I received this book from JeepDiva in exchange for my honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.
