Overview

Chris and Serena Davis held hands as they walked toward the portal, leaving the twisted wreck of their car—and their bodies—behind. Then they parted. Chris walks into the presence of God and an endless existence of love and contentment. Serena is tossed into the depths of Hell where she faces an eternal life of pain and hopelessness. Through God's mercy, those who dwell in Heaven have no recollection of loved ones in Hell—except Chris. He could not, would not, let her go, even though he realized that his loving wife had been given an eternal life sentence in Hell. Serena remembers Chris as well. In fact, it is part of Hell to remember and long for loved ones. What Serena sees and experiences in Hell makes her yearn for the love of her husband—and for the God she didn't accept. But there is hope—a faint hope that Chris and Serena can be together again. Serena's fate is in Chris's hands. Can he bridge the chasm that separates their realms before she is lost forever to Satan and the sea of fire? Can true love change the eternal plan of God? Can a man step into the depths of hell and save his beloved?

It's a story that starts out so innocently; with a couple just having another regular day, but its about to get real unusual pretty quickly. They are about to embark on an adventure that will change their lives; literally. Heaven and Hell, that part of the title tells you much of what is going to happen; kind of. You can't imagine what this couple will experience as they travel through Heaven and Hell. Period! I absolutely LOVED, LOVED this book!! I found it Intense, Intriguing and Riveting! I read it as an eBook and thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters of Chris and Serena were well developed and you got caught up in their drama. The imagery of both settings were also well described and creative. It is vivid and graphic in these descriptions and the things that go on in Hell; it was well worth the read. I don't want to give too much away and spoil the read for others. I just didn't want to put it down but of course I had to at times because of time restraints. For me, this book is going into my private library; its a keeper. I believe this book would be would be great for different age readers; except for the really young because of language and descriptions but I also realize many "young people" are seeing and hearing some things that are violent and graphic but this actually has a consequences effect to it that I think could be beneficial. it could be a good book for discussions as long as people don't get caught up in a religious debate and miss the more positive things in it. I definitely would like to read the next book by this author!! I received this eBook free from Destiny Image Books in exchange for a review. All comments are my own honest evaluation of this book.

The story engages you right from the beginning whether a christian or not. Vivid pictures of what hell and heaven could be like and the horror of the consequences of eternal separation from God. This book is a page turner..you will experience many emotions in the journey. The ending has a shocking twist!

It was a moving story that touched me to its very last pages.
The plot was steady, quick and taunt as it should be, and never dull. The cast of charaters were memorable, featuring historic figures and famous personalities such as Jesus, satan, and God HImself. The story kept you interested, and I cared for the character's fate (was rooting for them until the end).
It was very moving, heartfelt romanatic adventure that provided an in depth look into the afterlife. Readers of all ages and background will enjoy, for it provides an explanation for life after death, and explanation rooted in Scripture, God's holy word. This is a great story to show the Christian faith and life, and even unbelievers will enjoy. It is a powerfull work.
Two things were problomatic however; one, the book contains numerous, more than i cared to count, errors. This errors including things such as missing punctuation and noticeable grammatical errors. While this might show a lack of concern on the publishers part, it is very irratating. Also some of the writer's techniques seemed ameuter, though I must say the book was an easy read and that really helped the story along. So, afterall it worked out for the better.

It was a great story and a great spiritual work that truly showcases the author's love of God and desire to share the Good News with all people. With this book, lives truly can be changed and surely God will be given glory.

Fantastic read! Gave a vivid and amazing picture of heaven and hell. Though no one knows for certaing what we'll encounter after death, it does make one wonder if it'll be the way Mr. Zeigler portrays it. The story was fast paced and kept me guessing until the end.
