    I took what I felt was useful from this book..and it was really

    I took what I felt was useful from this book..and it was really helpful. I just had a hard time with some of the scripture interpretations. Not that they are wrong, its just that there is no way to prove it is right..and a person could be led to believe the wrong things. The writers back their theory with scripture. They do not just spout out what is in their mind. Hell being gahenna, a dumping place for that time, and that there is no real hell....are some things to ponder. They say that Hell is just death...no resurection.
    And they say heaven will be on Earth...and that there are three current heavens. This is worth reading, but keep a discerning heart. Although I want to know what these realms are like, I dont think any human can really say for sure until we meet with God himself.
    I do recommend this book. I enjoyed the intellectual thought and questions raised.

    Good book well written but you need to look my review

    This book promotes the intellectial view point of one Church called Church of God. The book makes a presentation of NO SOUL in man based on the view point that there is no such word in Greek or Hebrew. Major problem is the statments made by Jesus that DO NOT use this type of word but point at the fact a spirit does exist. NOTES: Look at the Cross, Jesus said today you will be with me in Paradise. Secondly the description of the Rick Man in Hell IS NOT A PARABLE as was the case in most things Jesus explained. NOTE that the words here say I KNEW these two which is a phrase dealing with REAL PEOPLE. In this case they were in the Grave and could communicate. Personally I see the referance pointing to the fact there is a LIFE after death but we do not understand it nor can we comprehend the context. If a soul does not exist how can Jesus come back? Who was that on the Mount of Transfiguration? Good book to read BUT you had better know the Bible when you do.
